Since most of you who read TUF follow township politics you will already know that I, Phil Kramer, am the new 3rd Ward Councilman. I have replaced Robert Mettler though I hope that someday events will lead to the two of us serving together.

The question that arises is, "What will happen to TUF." Even my wife says it's not appropriate for me to be on Council and be a watchdog. The immediate answer is that I will hand the keys of the website back to Chip Hoever. Unfortunately Chip's business keeps him from becoming fully involved. We have decided to open TUF up to other reporters. We are looking for people with writing and analytical skills that are willing to do fair and in depth reporting. If you are someone who shoots from the hip you need not apply. You will need to follow the TUF motto, "Nation before Franklin, Franklin before party or self."

We would prefer to divide the reporting up into sections, one person handling the Council and another handling the BOE.

We eagerly await a response.

I do intend to keep posting. All members of the Council and BOE are allowed to post at any time.
