Corrections
We received a communication from a TUF reader indicating some errors in our article. Since we trust this source we will note the errors. We will leave the original text as is because we don't want to be accused of hiding our mistakes.
- The high school referendum was only defeated once.
- Quoting our source "The stadium was not taken out of the proposal before we voted on the referendum that passed. The stadium was taken out after all the construction contractors bids came in over budget." TUF believes that this is even worse. While we assume that it is legal, the BOE gave the voters less of a high school than they thought they were getting. They didn't allow the voters to rethink the plan. And then what did the BOE take out? They took out something that is very popular and something they knew voters would want back.
