BOE 2006 Election Results
Update - April 25th 2006 - The final Chapter in the 2006 BOE election story is the election of officers. The short story is Eva Nagy was re-instated as BOE president and Peter Jordan was elected Vice President. No public speaking was allowed at this meeting. Mr. Jordan nominated Ms. Nagy, there were no other nominations and there was little to no discussion about it. In fact there was far more discussion on where they should hold the BOE meetings then who should be President.
The vote for President was 6 yes with LaCorte, Mettler and Unger abstaining.
TUF is concerned that this will mean business as usual. We believe that the message from the voters was, "We want change." The fear is this action indicates that the BOE isn't listening.
