Franklin needs a government that is working for the people. Councilwoman Ritchie's decisions benefit developers and hurt citizens. For the good of Franklin, we need to Recall Councilwoman Ellen Ritchie.
She's good for the likes of Jack Morris but bad for Franklin. Background
Developer Jack Morris (Edgewood Properties) wants to build a Super Stop & Shop, Home Depot, PetSmart, Wachovia Bank, major chain restaurant and 664 homes on Rt 27. And so does Ms. Ritchie.
Because of the Ritchie-Morris project
We Document that Ritchie spearheaded approval for this project, threatened a planning board member to sway his vote, lied about it and later sent an email that confessed to it. She was also suppressed information about alternative projects from the planning board. She betrayed the public trust with a behind closed doors meeting with Jack Morris for the purpose of passing this project. She is guilty of other misdeeds. Take Action A non-partisan committee of Democrats, Republicans and Independents has formed to RECALL ELLEN RITCHIE from office of Township Councilwoman for the Third Ward. We are asking for your help. It has come to our attention that there is a rumor that the BOE supports the recall. The BOE has no position on the recall. They are neither opposed, in favor nor even neutral. As a separate government body we would not expect them to have a position. What is true is that the President of the BOE, Eva Nagy has sated as fact that the proposed project will mean that we will need a new School. This was confirmed in a conversation on March 26th between her and Phil Kramer.
