A quick note: At the September 26, 2006 Council meeting the Township Clerk read a letter from Deputy Mayor Wandra Ashley-Williams stating that she was resigning her position as Councilwoman effective Oct 15th, 2006. According to Township Attorney Louis Rainone because she is a Democrat the Franklin Democrat Municipal Committee will have 15 days (starting Oct 15) to select three candidates for the position. Once the Committee submits those names the Township Council has 15 days to select one of the three.
