Date: 10/08/07 Subject: TUF Mail #7-16 - 2007 Candidates Forum, Bennetts Lane Watch, BOE Athletic Task Force, Recall Ritchie Cleanup. 2007 Candidates Forum - TUF invites candidates for the Nov 6, 2007 Candidates Forum to post on the web site Bennetts Lane Watch - One of the promises of the recall was to stop the Bennetts Lane-Veronica project. TUF looks to Council and the planning board to make it happen. BOE Athletic Task Force - The BOE has asked TUF to announce that they are looking for volunteers for thier Ad Hoc Task Force on athletics. TUF applauds the use of community members to help come to a decision. The BOE is facing several problems including shutting down athletic fields because of poor conditions. TUF will watch the progress of this initative. Recall Ritchie Cleanup - Just incase you've been living in a cave the past month you should know that the recall of Ellen Ritchie was successful. Bob Mettler has taken her place on the Council. Here are a few pictures of the celebration that took place after the votes were counted.
