This candidacy is about open government and bringing democracy back to the Democratic Party. We want to put an end to the strangle hold that Grippo has on the party. We want to end the enormous amounts of developer and Middlesex campaign financing entering Franklin. In two recent meeting even with the threat of the loss of his chairmanship, Grippo refused to stop accepting contributions from Middlesex's Senator Lynch and even went so far as to praise him. We want to stop the tactics of Laurie's opponent Ellen Ritchie of strong-arming other party members to get her way. Phillip (supported in the background by his wife) has for the last 3 years written extensively for the beTUF website. While what he writes express the sentiments of the TUF community at large, much of what Phillip and Laurie believe in is expressed on the TUF site.
