The mission of Taxpayers United in Franklin (T.U.F.) is to keep the taxpayers of Franklin Township (Somerset County - New Jersey) informed on issues taking place within the Township and beyond in all areas of government, that will affect their taxes and quality of life without party-partisan bias. TUF is a political watchdog group for ALL of the people of Franklin Township.

Partisan - We no longer to claim to be non-partisan because we are partisan to holding down spending while maintaining quality of life. We propose to do this by being a watch dog to point out areas of spending that will have little benefit. We however, are not party-partisan. If a politician that is a Democrat, Republican, Green Party, Libertarian or you name it agrees with our platform we will support them.     (Non-Partisan Pledge)

Quality of life - Admittedly this is loosely defined. For instance we are interested in the issues of eminent domain and freedom of speech. We will likely not stray far from taxes and spending but there are times we believe we need to speak out about other causes.
