On December 11, 2003 the Township Council passed the 2004 Franklin Township budget. This is a single yes or no vote for the entire budget as a whole. They do not vote on separate line items. The budget passed thus the Skateboard park passed. Then Councilman (now Mayor) Levine attempted to amend the budget to exclude the park but that was defeated with only Council members Levine and Ferguson voting for the amendment. The budget passed with only Council member Ferguson voting against it.

So that's it then? Well, maybe not. If building the park requires a bond then the Council will have to vote on the bond. TUF will keep you advised about any developments.
